Since it's time to write my exegesis paper, my church history paper (on the Greek apologists) and preparing for finals, I won't be adding to the blogroll until after Dec. 16. Please email me if you need to change something or want to be added but I won't reply for awhile.
If I get a chance during breaks, I'll try to get to some of my email. I certainly don't want to be overwhelmed by it when I'm done with my classes :-)

The Christian Blogroll is accepting applications again
But I think I'll continue this blogroll unless everyone decides to dump it :-) They do have a back load so you might have to wait awhile to be accepted.

Some good news from Feedburner and Blogger
You can now redirect your Blogger feed to your Feedburner feed (or another feed) much easier than before (you had to change the html in your template):
If you host your content on a Blogger blog with a blogspot.com address (or use Blogger's “custom domain” feature), you can now redirect your native Blogger feed to your FeedBurner feed (quite easily, might we add). Gone are the muggy, languorous days of wrestling with "autodiscovery" tags in foreboding corners of your Blogger template code or hacking through this tangled discussion thread for a glimpse of configuration clarity. Starting right now, you just log into your Blogger account, select Settings | Site Feed, enter your FeedBurner feed address and click "Save Settings." Zap! Pow! Kraaakkkk! Now you've got the complete picture of how your content is being consumed out here, out there, out everywhere.
Why is redirecting so important?
We're glad you asked. By redirecting your feed, you can get a true picture of how many subscribers you have. Some of you might even see a few more subscribers magically appear, though results will most certainly vary. Why so? Sometimes, publishers inadvertently fragment their feed audience by offering more than one feed address on the blog itself or within their autodiscovery tags (the method by which feed readers automatically detect the address of your feed for syndication purposes). This results in some subscribers not being counted, and no one wants that in a world where everyone should count for something. By redirecting your feed, you can consolidate any straggler subscribers and greatly improve your ability to effectively measure your audience.

Some news on the blogroll and the network
We know have over 80 blogs on the blogroll. We are slowly growing and I hope that we will make 100 by the end of the month. You could help this along by mentioning the blogroll every once in awhile and you could also promote the blogroll by putting the network headline feed on your blog.
And we have 48 blogs in the Feedburner network! With a subscription count that is close to 1,000. A way for us to increase the subscription total would be to optimize the use of your Feedburner feeds. Encourage your readers to subscribe to the Feedburner feed. One way to help this along is to put chicklets on a prominent place on the sidebar (you can find them under publicize tab). Another is to make the Feedburner feed the default feed for your blog. Here's an article that walks you through the process to do that. It's really easy to do and worth the effort.

Happy Easter!
I hope that you all enjoy your day of celebration of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior with your family and friends. He is risen! And the people said, "He is risen indeed!"
Luke 24:1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise."

We have over 50 blogs on the blogroll!!
Woohoo! That's not too bad for the first month. Please remember to advertize the blogroll so that we can double that this month. Also, if you can, put the network feed headlines on your blog. If people see the headlines on your blog, they may be tempted to join so that their headlines can be on your blog. Make sure you advertise the network headlines as well, so that they see it and want to be on it :-)

Please advertise the blogroll
Our traffic is down to a trickle. If we want to grow, we need to let people know that we are here.

Christian Blogosphere Network
I have created a Christian Blogosphere network at Feedburner. It's open to all Christians whether they are on the blogroll or not. You do have to agree to the same profession of faith as required of those who join the blogroll.
Here is a synopsis of Feedburner Networks:
FeedBurner has launched a new service to give its publishers the ability to organize themselves into networks, groups of folks who publish similar content and want band together to leverage the power of many to cross-promote their content and get more attention.Email me your url or leave a comment with your email address and url and I will mail you an invitation.
Christian Blogosphere is a network comprised of feeds with content similar to mine. By accepting my invitation, you'll be associated with this network and will have access to some promotional tools to help us increase traffic and "discoverability" using network badges, chicklets and BuzzBoost, which promotes the top posts from the feeds in our network.
I need the email address because I can't send the invitation without it.

Why the Christian Blogosphere blogroll
I haven't had the time to devote to the blogroll and I doubt that this fall will be any different so I have decided to stop updating it. I will not be deleting the blogroll so if you want to keep it on your blog, it will be available.
